This policy explains how Clairitea uses cookies and similar technologies on clairitea.com and in the Clairitea app. It adds detail to our Privacy Policy.

1The short version

  • We use only cookies that the website needs to work and to stay secure.
  • We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not let advertisers or social networks track you on clairitea.com.
  • Because every cookie we use is strictly necessary, we do not show a cookie banner.

We do not set cookies when you simply read clairitea.com without signing in, fill in the "A post about you?" form, or confirm a privacy request, except the security cookies Cloudflare may set.

When you pay on the website, the payment form is provided by RevenueCat and Stripe. Their own privacy policies apply to what they collect there.

3Analytics

We measure how the Service is used with PostHog. On clairitea.com, this happens on our servers, not in your browser, and uses no cookies. In the app, events identify you by your Clairitea account ID, or by a random installation ID before you sign in. Events include which screens and features were used. They do not include the text of posts, the names of people, phone numbers or your advertising identifier. See the Privacy Policy for more.

4In the Clairitea app

The app does not use browser cookies. It stores on your iPhone what it needs to work: your sign-in session in the iOS Keychain, your settings, a random installation ID used for analytics before you sign in, and a random device ID that lets us apply free limits before you sign in (we store only a keyed hash of it). The app does not access your device's advertising identifier and does not track you across other companies' apps or websites, so it never asks for permission to track.

5Your choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the cookies in Section 2, you can still read clairitea.com, but you may not be able to sign in or buy Clairitea Plus there. Because we do not sell your information or use it for targeted advertising, we treat Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals as already honored. Signing out ends your session.

6Changes and contact

If we start using other cookies or similar technologies, we will update this policy first. Questions: support@clairitea.com.
